Rebuild the finish
VCT Floor Stripping, Sealing & Waxing in Coppell, TX
Tile taken back to bare and rebuilt coat by coat. Work done after hours. Area closed off until the finish is cured and safe to walk.
Mopping Will Not Fix Worn Finish
Vinyl composition tile is tough. The finish on top of it is not. Foot traffic scratches it. Dirt gets sealed into it. After enough months, the floor looks gray and blotchy no matter how hard the night crew mops. The fix is a full strip and wax. Coppell Commercial Cleaners does it by the numbers. First the area is cleared and closed off with signs and barriers. Stripper goes down and gets worked with a floor machine until the old finish lets go. The slurry is picked up. The tile is rinsed clean, because leftover stripper ruins new finish. Then sealer goes on. Then thin layers of finish, no layer added until the last one is dry to the touch. A burnisher at high RPM finishes the job. Wet stripper is slick, so nobody walks through an active work area, ever. We schedule strip and wax for evenings, overnight or weekends so the floor has time to cure. Your hallways, classrooms and breakrooms open the next morning clean, sealed and bright.
The Strip and Wax Sequence
Every job follows the same sequence. Skipping steps is how floors fail.
Close the area
Furniture out, edges protected, signs and barriers up.
Strip
Stripper applied and worked with a machine to release old finish.
Recover and rinse
Wet vacs pull the slurry. Clean water follows. Residue would wreck the new coats.
Seal
A sealer coat to give the finish something solid to grip.
Coat
Layer after thin layer, with full dry time between.
Burnish
High-speed pass to harden the finish and bring up the gloss.
Hand off
Furniture back, area reopened only once the floor is cured.
How We Plan a Strip and Wax
Inspect the floor
Square footage, finish condition and traffic level. Then a written price.
Book the window
An evening, overnight or weekend slot with enough time to cure.
Strip, coat, burnish
The crew runs the full sequence and leaves the area ready for the morning.
Why Our Floors Last Longer
No shortcuts
Rinse, seal and dry times are never skipped. That is what makes the finish hold.
Safe work zones
Barriers and signs stay up until the floor is cured.
Upkeep after
The night crew uses the right cleaner so the new finish does not dull early.
- Area closed off
- Full rinse
- Sealer plus coats
- After-hours only
